IV vitamin & hydration drips
A clinical IV cocktail of vitamins, minerals and hydration — sat down, in clinic, in about an hour.
What it is
Intravenous vitamin and hydration drips deliver a measured cocktail of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and saline directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the variability of oral absorption. They are useful for genuine deficiencies, for short-term recovery after illness or significant travel, and as supportive treatment alongside the rest of your routine.
They are not a wellness panacea. The honest framing: well-formulated IVs work for what they're formulated for, and we will tell you when a different intervention — better sleep, a proper blood panel, a referral — would do more for you than another drip.
What it treats
- Genuine vitamin or mineral deficiency confirmed by blood work
- Recovery after long-haul travel, intense training blocks, or short illness
- Hydration support — particularly after a heavy weekend, hot weather, or hangover
- Immune support around high-exposure periods
- Skin radiance and antioxidant load — glutathione-led blends
How it works
- 1 An initial consultation reviews your medical history, current medications, and what you want the drip to address. For ongoing programmes we ask about recent blood work and may suggest a panel before starting.
- 2 You sit in a private treatment room. A small cannula is placed in the back of the hand or forearm.
- 3 The IV runs for 30 to 60 minutes depending on the formulation. You can read, work, scroll, or close your eyes.
- 4 The cannula is removed, the site dressed, and you go on with your day.

A good fit if
- You have a confirmed deficiency or specific recovery need
- You're prepared to combine drips with the boring fundamentals — sleep, hydration, balanced food
- You want clinical, prescriber-led wellness rather than over-the-counter supplementation
Not the right time if
- You're pregnant or breastfeeding (some formulations are contraindicated)
- You have significant kidney, liver or cardiac disease
- You're seeking IV drips as a substitute for proper medical investigation of a recurring symptom

FAQs
Do I really need an IV — can't I just take supplements?
For most people, oral supplementation is sufficient. IV is useful when there's a documented absorption issue, a genuine deficiency that hasn't responded to oral, or a short-term recovery need. We'll tell you honestly when an IV is the right answer and when it isn't.
How often can I have one?
For wellness use, no more often than every 2–4 weeks. For specific deficiency replenishment, the schedule may be tighter and is determined by your prescriber based on blood work.
Will I feel different straight away?
The hydration effect is immediate. The vitamin and mineral effect takes hours to days as the body uses what was delivered. The "instant glow" some clinics promise after a single drip is overstated — and we'd rather not over-promise.
Are there risks?
IV treatment carries a small risk of bruising at the cannula site, occasional vasovagal reactions, and very rare allergic responses. Done in clinical conditions by trained staff, the risk is low — but it is not zero, which is why we take a proper medical history first.
